Contributions Can Now Be
Directly Debited From Your Account
A
new feature has recently been added to our financial accounting
software which allows monthly contributions to be automatically
debited from a contributor's bank account. The transaction is
handled through the National Automated Clearing House, an extremely
secure method of transferring funds between banks and other
institutions. Advantages to the contributor include the knowledge
that gifts and pledges are paid to the church in a timely manner
without the necessity of writing a check or spending money on
postage. The church will also benefit from a more regular and
predictable inflow of cash.
The
automatic debit will occur on a monthly, quarterly or semi-annual
basis on the 10th of the month. If you would be interested in
enrolling in the program, a form is available at the receptionist's
desk in the church office, or can be downloaded from directly
using adobe acrobat
or MS Word
. You will need to provide information on the account from which
you would like the contribution drawn as well as the amount
to be debited. The completed form should be returned to Vicki
Gilstrap, Financial Administrator. Also, please provide a voided
check from your account. Once you set up an automatic debit
from your account, the process can be discontinued by simply
contacting Vicki.
