Our mission as a United Methodist Church is:
To Make Disciples of Jesus Christ. We strive to keep Jesus
Christ at the very center of all that we do as a church family.
Our church is a Child Friendly, Family Friendly, Faith Forming
Community. We act out our mission in a great variety of ways.
Worship is at the very heart and center of our mission.
Our preaching is invariable based on the Holy Bible. Our
music reflects a profound reliance on Biblical texts.
Our liturgy involves the congregation in exploring the Biblical
message for our times. Families, children, youth and adults
are all involved in our worship experience.
Disciple Bible Study is offered in a number of settings every
year. Shorter term Bible studies are offered during special
seasons.
Hands-on mission work is a vital part of our congregation's
life. Our Senior High Youth travel nationally and to neighboring
countries in mission projects. Our Junior High Youth do
local mission projects. Adult groups have traveled as
far as Russia and Israel, and as near as a mile and a half doing
hands on mission. We give generous financial support to
both local and global mission projects.
Both across the street and around the world, our
mission is To Make Disciples of Jesus Christ.
